Is Fall a good time for planting?
Fall is the ideal time for planting perennials and shrubs because the warm soil, increased rainfall and cooler temperatures allow for the plant’s roots to become well-established before the ground freezes. Since its roots are already established in your garden, a perennial or shrub that is planted in the Fall will grow more vigorously in the following Spring than a perennial or shrub that is newly planted in the Spring.
Be sure to take advantage of our low clearance prices on good quality perennials and shrubs, to get a head start on your garden next year! We will have 54 varieties to choose from this weekend.
