Market Preview {August 18, 2012}


Another week, another Market!

This week is our monthly food drive, so be sure to bring canned food items or donate Market Produce to those in our community who need it. We want to be a community who supports one another!

Stop by for late Summer produce, fun music and tasty samples. It's a Market you won't want to miss!

Ellen April will be at the market this week with a variety of soaps and body products. Stop by to check out their newest soap, Pink Grapefruit. 


London Vale Farm
This week we will have:  Sugar baby watermelons, corn (triple sweet white & triple sweet bi-color varieties), green beans, tomatoes (your choice of yellow or red in large, plum & grape varieties), bell peppers (green & red varieties), cantaloupes, honeyloupe melons, sweet onions (white, red & yellow varieties), and brown eggs.
Coming Soon:
Next week – Chinese cabbage
2 weeks – Acorn squash
3 weeks – Butternut & winter squashes



This week we will be bringing a variety of fresh pork items such as chops, roasts and sausages, Along with plenty of fresh chicken products and farm-fresh eggs. Also a nice variety of beef steaks, patties, and hot dogs for your summer grilling pleasure. Check out our website's product order form for more choices. Thank you for a great market season!


We hope you loved last Saturday's (surprise!) early Shinsui Asian pears (what we like to call 'sugar bombs'). We'll have a few more of them this week. We'll also have apples, peaches, nectarines, tomatoes, garlic, chard, and other garden goodies!

2. Yellow Brick Road —aged goat cheese washed with our local Victory beer as it ages.
